A Passion for Healthy Relationships
I believe we are all just doing the best we can.
No one gives us an instruction manual on how relationships are supposed to work, but we all want to be in relationships that make us feel good about ourselves and help us grow. Therapy is a great tool to help you do this. Whether you want help with your family relationships, romantic relationships, or even your friendships, I am a trusted marriage and family therapist and would love to help you.
Although my main focus is on relational therapy, I also offer individual sessions. These sessions allow you to work on your relationship with yourself as well as those with other people in your life who may not want to attend therapy. I can also work with you on mental health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and others.
My specialties include:
Trust recovery and affair work
Sexuality and sex therapy
Self-esteem work
Conflict support
Gender and relationship dynamics
Racial identity work
My Credentials
I received my Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona with a minor in counseling. After a year of working in an LGBT adolescent research lab, I pursued my Masters of Science in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon. It was during my graduate training that I found my passion for working with couples and relationships.
My training has especially prepared me to help couples and families. However, the most essential element of the therapeutic process is your relationship with your therapist! I know how daunting therapy can seem at first, so I work hard to put my clients at ease.
Take the First Step. Reach Out!
The first step is reaching out. If you think you could benefit from a therapist, contact me today! I offer a free 20-minute consultation to all prospective clients. If you decide you want to continue with services, we can also schedule an intake appointment.
